Did you line up for an iPhone 5?

    Life in the iLine

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Courttay11 told me, 'This is my first time in line. It's very exciting! Everything is pretty quiet at the moment since it's 11:30am and the weather is starting to heat up a little. There are about 15-20 people in line thus far. The first person was here early Tuesday afternoon.'
    - hhanks, CNN iReport producer

A subtle breeze blows in as the Dallas, Texas sun shines happily on those eager to be the first to own the iPhone 5 when it is released at 8am on Friday morning. It's early Thursday morning, but already a dozen people sit dotted outside the store located in the quiet Southlake Town Center. Each camp differs slightly in size and set up, though MacBooks, iPads, and iPhones decorate all. An excited manager makes her way down the line, briefly meeting with the line goers, her kindness reminding us all subconsciously as to why we love Apple so much. Those passing by, look in awe, occasionally asking how long we have been waiting, and often remarking enthusiastically, "That is so cool!" As a first time camper, I awoke to butterflies swirling in my stomach and simply could not wait to jump in my car that was appropriately loaded up with all the necessities: sleeping bags, folding chairs, a cooler fully loaded with drinks and food, and of course, only the best Apple branded entertainment to keep my attention for the next 24 hours. So while some admire, others poke fun, and many share their excitement vicariously through us, I end with one thought: we really do only live once. Life is about enjoying the little things, whatever those may be.
