    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     cwpepoli, a graphics artist in Tucson, Arizona, says she took photos of the shuttle for her boyfriend, a space program fan. 'I was nervous because I wanted so much to be able to give him great photos of the flyover so it could be as if he was there seeing it for himself, since he holds the space missions close to his heart.'

    'I pointed my camera up with the lens extended all the way out thinking it was going to be a little dot in the sky and then all of a sudden I turned slightly to the left and there it was, huge and low.'

    2012-09-20 - I was in a great spot for the shuttle fly over as it was making its way to California.
