Mitt Romney To Release Tax Info
The Republican party has said that they will release Mitt Romney's 2011 tax return today. They also said that they would release a 20 year summary of his effective tax rate.
I applaud Mr. Romney for releasing his 2011 tax return which again shows that his effective tax rate was 14.1%. This rate is well below what the average person pays in taxes. Now he wants to give a spreadsheet of his effective tax rates for the previous 20 years. Where is the supporting documentation for these tax returns? I can create a spreadsheet of numbers also. However, I usually have supporting files that can be verified to match up with the spreadsheet. This is not releasing tax returns.
So what will this spreadsheet show America other than a man who is hiding his tax returns?
*If you are coming here to attack, please don't bother. It won't help. We, as Democrats are tired of the Republican base using disparaging remarks to try and get their point across. We are adults, we don't need to act like children. And, as Democrats, we find it hilarious that the Republican posters are trying to use derogatory terms and threats as facts and evidence.
