Exclusive video - iPhone 5 grand launch at the Apple store - Philadelphia
Earlier today iPhone 5 was launched throught the US. I got a chance to witness the same at the Apple store in Philadelphia, PA.
Doors opened at 8 am at the Apple store (Walnut street) in Philadelphia. People (like across the country) waited and camped outside in an attempt to be the first one to have iPhone 5.
It was really interesting to see so many Apple fans waiting for this moment. Although, I did not camp out the night before but being an Apple fan, I did come early morning to witness the opening. The atmosphere was great and everyone looked excited.
A couple of minutes just before 8 am, all the Apple genius people came outside the store and cheered the fans for their patience. They went all the way to the end of this large line of people and shook hands with all the fans and cheered everyone up.
Then exactly at 8 am - the doors opened and fans were greeted by the Apple store representatives by claps, cheering. There was an air of huge excitement. It was my first such event to witness an iPhone launch at an Apple store. Although, I was not in line for the iphone but I was equally excited just to see all the smiling faces and the level of energy and enthusiasm among Apple fans.
Only Apple can do this - Cheers to Apple !!!
