    Revolution

The premise is simple, the lights go out all over the world and we pick up 15 years later, with the same family that holds the secret to what really happened on that day.

There is no real law and order still after 15 years. The mid west is run by the evil, Monroe Republic. They are in pursuit of the key, that turns on the worlds power.

Charlie's (the female lead) father who was killed by the Monroe Republic had the key and just before he died, gave it to a trusted friend and asked that he find his brother in Chicago as he would know what to do. During this time Charlie's brother was taken as hostage. Charlie then goes to Chicago to hunt for her Uncle so he can help. Of course this leads the Monroe Republic right to her Uncle's place and a battle of swords begins. It reminded me of a Jackie Chan movie, where he fights about 12 people and walks out the winner! The show is much more detailed obviously than my premise, but it captured my interest and anxious to see who is behind the black out.

The lead actor a young girl named Charlie, made me feel that my wardrobe was not complete without a bow and arrow. She was feisty and gave the show a good sense of adventure.

    Looking forward to next week.
