    Requiem for a space shuttle

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     PaulaGibson captured a photo of a tree stump. The tree that once stood there was more than 80 years old and was removed to make way for the arrival of space shuttle Endeavour. She says she was against the removal of the tree, and requested to speak to the city of Los Angeles presentation of the event, but was unable to. 'Even though more trees will be replanted, none of them will reach the majestic height of that and many other of the trees removed in my life time,' she said.
