    Rainbow over Colorado

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Bill Houston used his Canon 5D to take several photos while on vacation in Estes, Colorado, but when he saw these rainbows appear, he had packed up his camera and had to rely on his iPhone. 'I saw the assignment and thought about the symbolism of my photo ... dark clouds and fall pushing away summer sun and creating a rainbow as a bridge between one season and the next.'

    I shot this at around 6 p.m. using an iPhone. It was a clear, sunny evening, but dark clouds were moving in, dropping mist and creating a double rainbow in the evening sun.
