Travel photo of the day |
End of summer frenzy in the Rockies
Forest fire smoke and cool airs are making the mountains blue and smokey.
The video is of a frenzy of bees (wild) and butterflies on the flowers and slopes of Lake Louise (second photo). The voices are those of excited Japanese tourists who have never seen this sort of thing in their lives. And we may never see it again.
We were having lunch in the bar in the third photo when the flowers drew me down to the side of the Lake. This video is what I saw. But I am no pro video man.
Hand held Leica LX-7, but it reveals a little of the glory that afternoon before the snows come.
I'm still a photo not a video junkie, the fifth photo illustrates that I hope.
