    Fishing for a cure

Brittany Shuler is the mother of a little girl Marissa who died of a brain tumor. Marissa had barley turned 1 when she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. After a short 5 week battle Marissa gained her wings. Brittany has made it her mission in life to find a cure for cancer. With her husband being a avid fisherman they came up wioth the idea of "fishing for a cure." They raise money and awareness for childhood cancer. Brittany has joined with the St.Baldricks foundation in 46 mommas shave for the brave. These mothers all shaved their heads for their children with cancer. Brittany has turned her tragedy into a crusade to keep other parents from feeling the loss she has and to find a cure for this monster. September is childhood cancer awareness month. We all wear our gold ribbons for Marissa and every child who has or will be diagnosed with cancer.
