METROPOLITAN OPERA Season Opening Gala
On Sept 24th Celebrity interviewer and CNN iReporter "ALADINO" from www.aladinoshow.com has captured exclusive images behind scenes of the great Red Carpet at the 2012 Metropolitan Opera Season Opening Night.
L'Elisir d'Amore has a suitably melodramatic plot involving a lovelorn peasant who tries to attract a fancy lady by drinking an elixir that a quack doctor sells to him. The lady is not interested, agrees to marry someone else, then she later becomes intrigued when the peasant gives her the cold shoulder, everyone is at cross purposes, the drama increases as the story unfolds, and it’s all very, well, operatic.
(The opera was broadcast live on multiple screens in Times Square last night, as well, drawing a large crowd.)
See how red carpet crashers fly across the photographers and also when the celebrities prepare themselves to make sure they are looking sharp for the pic that are going to be somewhere in a magazine, online or TV.
On last part of this video you can see when Aladino asks Actor Carlos Leon about his dinner the night before in the Lower East Side of Manhattan where was spotted by Aladino and Carlos responded surprised:
"How do you know about that?"
Well, call it paparazzi work which Aladino doesn't consider himself or mere coincidence in this case but Aladino saw the Actor again the same night on his way home buying a big size pizza in the local pizza place "Stanton Pizza".
Aladino went immediately inside and asked him about the Opera Night Gala experience.
Carlos Leon at this point was more than surprise to see Aladino again but very kindly spoke to his camera.
P.S.
Never underestimate the power of Aladino and his "lamp".
