CNN PRODUCER NOTE     SZKRDRTWR photographed the beautiful landscape of the National Badlands Park in South Dakota. She told me the landforms in the park are amongst the richest fossil beds in the world and began to form 69 million years ago. 'I think people would be amazed to see what beauty is right here sitting amongst the endless farmlands of the Dakotas. It's one of my favorite places in the world,' she said.
    - Jamescia, CNN iReport producer

It's a place that can make you feel so small and stun with its rugged beauty. Time passed to carve this landscape leaves me in awe. I'm humbled by the history these Badlands have witnessed and the challenges its Native Tribes endured. I'm overwhelmed thinking of the undiscovered possibilities that lie within this ancient seabed. Listen to the story that the South Dakota Badlands whisper to you, through the winds of the prairie grass. Its spirituality is powerful.
