    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     davkenau captured this photo of an incoming storm from his apartment window in Bangkok, Thailand, on September 27. He says the incoming storm highlights his hectic neighborhood and the beauty of the city. 'I always enjoy the rain season as it cleans the street, gets rid of the dust in the air and I love to watch the city come back to life after the storm ends,' he said.

    As Bangkok remains on flood alert and speculation increases as to the quality of flood prevention efforts after 2011's devastating flood season, Bangkok residents are reminded that the weather doesn't wait for politics.
