    Tragedy in Taiji Again!!

Over the last 2 days around 100 pilot whales were brutally slughtered in the COVE, again the sheer tragic events were screened live from Taiji - shocking and distubing images that i can never erase from my mind - will haunt me for ever.

They finally let a few go and even this was disturbing - as the whales had been kept for 2 days  - terrified by what they were seeing and expierencing- not to mention hungry and exhausted, there were scenes of exhausted whales wih ropes around their necks being pulled back out to sea, another was hit in the head by a boat to move them out the cove - this is nothing short of abuse on a high level and yet there is not one media station willing to cover this - or one organisation for the prevention of cruelty to animals that did anything about this - again and again this happens and the world looks on without doing anything about it.

I contacted  Ambassador Roos about this when he had a chance to save the pod and he did nothing!!! I am appalled by this - why do we have Ambassadors if they do not do their jobs properly, why is no-one doing anything about this mass slaughter that continues from Sept - March every year. One day they oceans will no longer have any species left and then who will take the blame??? well it wont be us the Activists fighting hard everyday to save then - it won't be the Cove guardians who stand there day in and out to film the attrocities - it will be the governments who had the chance to stop the madness and did nothing........Their blood is on your hands...also yesterday one of the cove guardians was attacked by the fishermen - again unacceptable - it seems to me that the Japanese can do whatever they want without reprocutions..............It's time for the world to stand up and say no more to this barbaric and brutal assault on our beloved cetaceans
