    Race for the Cure: Thousands run/walk to support Breast Cancer

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     gregreesehd captured these photos of Cincinnati's Race for the Cure on September 29, and describes the mood of the day as happy and exciting. "The runner and walkers were excited and ready to support breast cancer research," he says. "What stood out to me was a survivor I met in 2010 was there. She is a 6 year survivor!"

    Thousands of people ran and walked with Susan G Komen's Race for the Cure today, September 29, 2012, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

     

    Susan G Komen is the largest and best funded breast cancer organization in the United States. Since 1982 Komen has invested over $2 billion for breast cancer research.
