A note to remind
All the while you argue to attack Iran, you should not forget the history of its nuclear power. In 1976 Republican President Ford signed a decree to allow an American company to build Iran’s first such facility. (You know, a Presidential Order… The opposition was silenced and dismissed.) The money involved in the contract was astronomical, good business deal for sure. The Shaw’s government was already showing cracks. Dick Cheney and other Neocons were all for it (for the deal). There is a lot more to the story, but you can research it yourself.
The point is that it was not that different from the same bunch of Neocons (Extreme Right Wing Republicans) arming Saddam Hussein with chemical weapons, which were used later against some of his own citizens. Can you not see a pattern here? Can you not detect risky propositions that backfire, cause wars, cause instability and outright confusion? Most of all, cost American lives and taxpayers money.
So, please don’t talk to me about the Right’s foreign policy successes. They are only successful in hiding their facts and their awkward attempts. They don’t have your best interest in mind, nor do they have the interest of other countries populations. They want to dominate the world. It would be smart to follow where they hide right now, because they are working incessantly on their projects. The elections are but a temporary distraction. If Mitt wins, they will have elbow room, but Mr. Obama’s reelection will not stop them.
“Freedom is not a gift of heaven, we must fight for it every day.” (Simon Wiesenthal)
