The Jacksonville State University Marching Southerners
Remember when marching bands actually played real music? And were more than just uncoordinated flashmobs with instruments? Well If you are searching for a real marching band that pushes the boundries of both music and drill, then welcome to the world-famous JSU Marching Southerners.
Located in Northeast Alabama, The Jacksonville State University Marching Southerners have been redefining the world of marching band for over 50 years. This is a video of their 2011 Production of "Fire and Ice." Within it, you will hear classic songs such as "Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend," "Fever," along with the most beautiful rendition of "Ice Castles" since the chessy 80's movie.
Enjoy this production of the Jacksonville State University Marching Southerners' show. Filmed and edited together from all their various performances from the 2011 season, including one stop at Titan's Stadium in Nashville, Tennesse.
