October Romance
It's wild geese flying south and cool clear air and approaching winter storms.
We have had our summer and our heat. Now, time to light the home fires and bring out the wood dried from last year for the fire.
What's coming? Son of man, we cannot say or guess, for we know only a heap of broken images.
But I know one thing tonight: "The road that is built in hope is more pleasant to the traveller than the road built in despair, even though they both lead to the same destination."
Penned by Marion Zimmer Bradley, US author of fantasy novels.
