Bus Journey - From Haridwar To Mussoorie via Dehradun
We took a Bus from Lucknow's Kaiserbagh Bus Station to Dehradun.In the night it passed through narrow Bridges where vehicles take turn to cross.Also several roads have long queues of Trucks about to venture on their journey to deliver goods.We stopped at road side rural inn to have some food.In the morning we reached Haridwar and after having morning tea we set out for Dehradun.From Dehradun we took another Bus to Mussoorie.
From Dehradun a winding road steeply climbs up to the Hill Station of Mussoorie.Bus driver had to be really skilled and have powerful arms to steer on such treacherous roads when a slightest mistake can send the Bus reeling down the deep valley that's on one side of the road.On the other side are green hills and mountains covered by tall green trees like Cypress,Oak,Chestnut,Poplar and Cedar.Some people who have no experience of traveling on these serpentine Hilly roads do feel their stomach churning and a tendency to vomit.That's why window seats are several times covered in Puke.
