Unemployed for 7 years
I have been unemployed and actively seeking employment through the usual sites. I have a background in defense manufacturing, and recently Insurance Sales. I have a new job with a major company, but it's going to take 6-8 months before I get a commission. Bush has created a mess, and Obama is trying to fix it. I've talked to a dozen friends and colleagues and they just can't afford new insurance. Most are living paycheck to paycheck. Yes, they could give up some 'luxuries', like pizza once a week, orange juice in lieu of water and vitamin C, but they're struggling, as am I. I trust Obama with my future, not an egomaniac rich kid who is only looking out for his best interest, his buddies, and not the average American.
