October 2, 2012, in the implementation of Republic Act 10175 or the Cyber Crime Law, the whole Philippine Facebook, Twitter, and media communities in the whole country was on rage. Many of the Filipinos are not favorable with this law. They said that it was obvious that the cited law was violating the Philippine Constitution. They also said that it was not very reasonable because of the punishment which enabled a person be imprisoned for 12 years in maximum and be fined raging from PHP 200,000 to PHP 10,000,000. In the picture, some people are protesting against this law. The protester wears black and taped their mouth with black, black as a sign of death of freedom. President Benigno Aquino III, the President of the Philippines and the son of former Philippine President and icon of "Democracy" Maria Corazon Cojuanco Aquino and Benigno Aquino Jr., was trending on facebook including the senators who approved the law. Senator Vicente Sotto III, who is allegedly plagiarizing a speech of a former US Senator, was also trending on Facebook and on Twitter using the hashtag #Sinotto, derived from him due to his plagiarizing act. Today, Ocotber 3 (Philippine Time) was the date of enacting the law. Some of Philippine government websites was being downed or hacked by the hackers named "Anonymous Philippines", The websites includes www.NBI.gov.ph, www.gov.ph and many more.
