    WI at Her Finest


    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     cinders23 drove through Kettle Moraine, a special geographic region of hills (moraines) and depressions (kettles) in central Wisconsin, on Sept. 29 to see the fall colors. 'After the horrible drought we suffered here in southern Wisconsin this summer we weren't sure how the autumn leaves would be. They were spectacular! We pulled over many times to take photos of the magnificent colors,' she said. Share your autumn 2012 photos here.

    We decided to take a drive last Sat. (9/29) through the Kettle Moraine area of central Wisconsin. It is a beautiful area of rolling hills (moraine-glacial debris) and depressions (kettles) in the land caused by glaciers from thousands of years ago. The old hardwood forest leaves were ablaze with color. I only cropped the photos, I did not futz with the color at all. Yes, it was that gorgeous...
