    Georgian Students protest privacy violation

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     For the past couple weeks, fiqria has been photographing Georgian students protesting the list of prison employees published by the newspaper Asaval-Dasavali. She says she was 'shocked' at how 'illogical and aggressive' the newspaper employees got with the protesters last night. See more of her protest photos here.

    Georgian newspaper “Asaval-Dasavali” known for its xenophobic and homophobic articles, published the full list of #8 Prison employees, with their personal data (full name, age, length of service, addresses); the list of employees also included individuals accused in torturing of the prisoners (Gldani Prison scandal);
    Considering of privacy violation, number of students planned and arranged protest march in front of the Office of the said newspaper.
    Representatives of “Asaval-Dasavali”, supported by Ultra orthodox group of priests and Georgian Dream activists showed aggression and offensive attitude towards students, humiliating and insulting peaceful protesters.
