    Final presidential debate: Unanswered questions

Romney Responds Partially to My IReport Question to Him

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     k3vsDad, a moderate Independent, previously shared a jobs question for Romney about how he’d create a climate of job creation. 'Romney did a fairly good job answering the questions going a little farther than he has previously, but still quite as specific as I was hoping. I was pleased with his response,' he said.
    - zdan, CNN iReport producer

On September 27th, I responded to a CNN iReport assignment calling for asking both presidential candidates, President Barack Obama  and Mitt Romney, an individual question or a question for both. At that  time, I chose to ask one of both as well as an individual question for  each candidate.

Here is what I asked of Romney:

Governor Romney, what will you do specifically to create a business climate that leads to real job creation?

Tonight  during the 1st of 3 Presidential Debates, Romney in response to  questioning by PBS host Jim Lehrer actually partially answered my  question.

Romney  noted that by reassessing regulations as well as making changes to the  tax code along with repealing and replacing the Affordable Care Act, a  business climate would be created which would inspire business owners to  have confidence and ability to plan and thereby be able to start  expanding and hiring again.

While  not as specific as I would have liked. Romney did give it the old  college try and enough to convince me that he does have a plan that will  help put America back to work.

From the Cornfield, Round 1 tonight goes to Romney.

What will Rounds 2 and 3 bring us?
