    Final presidential debate: Unanswered questions

    More from Liberty1955

Romney Sticks a Finger in Obama's Eye and Obama Takes It For Now

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Liberty1955 watched the first presidential debate and felt as though Romney was aggressive while Obama tried not to appear confrontational. 'I think Romney won the aggressiveness and had the energy, but Obama had more substance. Romney came off as more assertive and Obama came off as more professional,' he said. He says he was disappointed with Obama's performance and felt as though Romney was a bully. '[Romney] pushed his answers well beyond the limits, rolled over Jim Lehrer's call to stop... Often, he pushed his way to respond to the president's comment even when the segment's time had expired. I wish the first time Romney pushed for more time, Obama had said, "No Mitt, your 15 minutes is up,'" he said.
    - Jareen, CNN iReport producer

We saw where 'being a nice guy' got the President during this nation's debt ceiling negotiations. Unnecessary cuts to the middle class programs.
Which President Obama will show up for the next debate? The arbitrator or the tough guy we've seen on the campaign trail?
Tonight, President Obama looked like he was the New York Giants, up by two touchdowns, just trying to run the clock out, and prevent any scoring in order to win the game.
Most teams that play 'prevent' lose. They give the other team time to build momentum.
It's going to take more than that with this guy.
You've got to nail him. You have to connect him to the Republican Party which fought you on every single issue for the last two years, Mr. President.
Connect him to the extreme party that gave Romney their marching orders. He's lying. Call a lie a lie. Stop with the euphemisms.
Tonight, we saw that Romney was willing to lie again.
Romney's flip flopped on every issue and he said in the debate that he was not going to cut taxes for the wealthiest Americans when he's said that he would cut taxes for the 'job creators' all along.
Mr. President, you looked like Rocky going against Clubber Lane in the beginning of the movie when Rocky couldn't even keep eye contact.
Clubber looked intense, and Rocky looked like he was already defeated.
The professorial aspect of you, Mr. President, has a place. But in the debates?
Nouns and verbs and substance. It's a two minute response.
You don't have time to be the "Explainer in Chief" as was Bill Clinton at the convention.
    Yes, it's complicated.
You have the class, but Romney had the energy tonight.
What you need to do is to step down off that platform, go toe to toe, eye to eye, and see Romney as a man you need to defeat because you know what he will bring to this country.
You need to knock this guy out, Mr. President.
Read the letters Americans write you and remember who you are fighting for and what it will mean to them if Romney gets elected.
Stop looking at the moderator for permission to take a swing at Romney. Romney got the first word and the last word in many segments because Jim Lehrer didn't stop him. You're the President. President Obama kept looking to Jim Lehrer to restore order and let him talk.
You don't need Lehrer's permission to slap Romney down.
You tell Romney you're gonna talk. You interrupt him and call him out for lying about what he's said and what he claims to be saying now.
Mr. President, fast forward to the final fight between Rocky and Clubber Lane in Rocky 3. Eyeball to eyeball, Clubber tells Rocky he's going to beat him and this time with totally intense eye contact Rocky says, "Go for it!"
Mr. President, you need to come out swinging. We want the guy that we saw on the campaign trail that said:
    "It's a do nothing Congress".
We want the fighter we saw in you there. Romney's had his 15 minutes and you are the president.
I love you, man. But you need to fight. I've seen you do it.
    Smack this guy, would you?
