    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Long time iReporter markpel says he was walking along wrapped up in thought when he spotted fallen leaves on the ground and realised the seasons had changed. "Many times when I am in Berlin I don't think exactly what time of the year we have," he says. "But if I go outside to nature from the city it is easier to realise that it's summer, autumn or winter."
