    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Kalalau123 captured these vibrant photos of a gecko having a drink at the base of a Bird of Paradise plant. "Geckoes are very approachable in the morning when they are feeding. You just have to learn to move like a cat around them," he says. "Learning their habits is the key and knowing when they feed, how to find them and approach them all help." His third photo was featured as CNN's Travel Photo of the Day for December 5, 2012.

    This little fellow was drinking morning dew from the base of a Bird of Paradise plant.
    THey also hunt tiny bugs that dwell on the garden plants in the morning, if you know where to look for them.
