Autumn has finally come to London England as this blanket of autumnal leaves confirms in Victoria Park near the recent London 2012 Olympics site.
Victoria Park is one of London’s most important historic parks and its oldest public park. It has been used by millions of Londoners for nearly 170 years as a place of healthy recreation, sports, play and relaxation.
Named after the late Queen Victoria it was Londons first public park opened in 1845 after a local MP presented Queen Victoria with a petition of 30,000 signatures for an open space for Londoners to enjoy.
