    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     alphamalex frequents Jacobson Park Reservoir near his home in Lexington, Kentucky, and yesterday's blue sky lured him to the lake to snap a fall photo. 'The sun was coming up behind me and was already skimming the tops of the trees in the foreground as you can see from the glow, but because of the grove of tall trees behind me it had not yet painted the lone evergreen in the foreground. The glass surface alone was worth the trip,' he said.

    Nothing better than stopping by my favorite lake, Jacobson Park Reservoir, on the way to work. I usually check to see if clouds are present, but something made me stop yesterday even though the sky was bright blue; sans clouds. There was not much of a breeze which helped with the 8 second exposure.
