    Surging gas prices

    More from kqsurfkc

Day 2 of my iReport: "How can we afford the gas prices".

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     kqsurfkc told me, 'Spiked prices like this mean I have to stay home, I can't go anywhere. I have to go groceries shopping once every two weeks, meaning I will not always have fresh food, veggies or fruit on the table.'
    - hhanks, CNN iReport producer

    Hello again;

Today I took short version of my “Gasmargedon”. I only took images of three gas stations next to my apartment building in Huntington Beach on Hamilton and Brookhurst.  And to my surprise the prices were high but not that astronomically high, as they are in other parts of the State. Like Los Angles itself gas prices on the news were showing $5.99. I can’t confirm that independently.

Now for the comparison - 76 Regular:

    Yesterday: $4.19

    Today: $4.75 -- that’s .64 cents in one night.

    Super Unleaded:

    Yesterday: $4.29

    Today: $4.85 that’s .64 cents again.

    That’s a robbery.

So here are three Stations on the intersection of Hamilton and Brookhurst in Huntington Beach.

You may want to hit the Arco Station it’s the lowest of all.

You can do the mat with other station on my images.

I am still for Public Transportation and I hope Obama administration use the opportunity to boost public transportation around the Country to build railroad.

Again I am referring to Europe.

Despite that the prices are not as bad as in other parts of the State and County I still can’t go anywhere I have a GMC Track that eats up 14 miles per gallon. I got the track when prices were much lower, and it is for leisure time after I come back from my sea voyages. I guess I am stuck at home. Couch potato and movie time. Which is not that so bad since I am at sea I am very much behind on checking the movies?

    That was my last word.
