The new American job: Part time?

    Part time jobs don't work

After working 7 years at a part time job and unable to get ahead in the company I found it increasingly difficult to find a way out. Working a part time job doesn't even come close to a temporary fix, most people in the company where I worked were either depressed or drug abusers. I had to get out of there I fled the part time labor market only to find myself jumping homeless shelter to homeless shelter and at times working temp agency jobs living off of approximately 33$ a week. The part time job is trivial; if only there was a way to advance in the company. At my place of work you would make around 200$ a week for 10-15 years until a full time job opening came. I find those numbers very scary because the only way to live on that type of income is to live in a car or a van. Living in a car doesn't work the amount of strain it puts on your back is not healthy. I have made it clear in my mind that I will not go back into the part time field of work because of the stress and anxiety it gave me. When the corporations either fix their system or go bankrupt, I'll get a part time job.
