CNN PRODUCER NOTE     GabsterWorld used to work a full-time marketing job before her elderly mother fell ill. She quickly became her mother's sole caregiver and close friend, but in return she had to let go of her full-time job, and she found that the only way to make ends meet financially was to work a series of part-time jobs online. She became a part-time online profession for undergraduate students, and supplemented her income with additional online writing jobs. She says she did not ever expect herself to be working part-time jobs at this point in her life. 'I expected myself to work part-time while I travel, but I never expected to begin traveling this late in the game,' she said. She transformed her changing employment status into a career opportunity. Working part-time, she was able to telecommute and fulfill one of her dreams of traveling more. 'Hopefully, when I'm done seeing the world, the economy will have recouped so that I can begin another phase in my life -- work full-time in a profession that I love,' she said.
