Highest Ever Gas Prices in California

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     ChrisMorrow says gas prices continue to climb in San Diego, California, as people pay more than five dollars a gallon to load up their cars. She interviewed the San Diego Mayor and a few motorists who were filling their tanks with gas, and she says many of them were concerned over the high prices. 'Everyone seemed upset about this. The biggest concern is stations closing because they don't have supply,' she said.
    - Jareen, CNN iReport producer

At an average of $4.61 per gallon, gas in California is now more expensive than it's ever been and expected to skyrocket even more. The extreme is $5.16 per gallon in Coronado and could reach $6.

I spoke with San Diego Mayor Jerry Sanders, Council District 3 Todd Gloria, Jill Seiger (San Diego resident) , Kelly Habrus (UCSD student), Mario Rosa (San Diego resident) and Patrick Schultz (Coronado resident) about the California gas crisis.
