    Flooding in Bridge City, Texas (Orange County)

    These are photos I have received of my hometown of Bridge City, Texas. It  has been devastated by the storm surge from Hurricane Ike. There are reports of people in attics waiting for rescue with 5 feet of water in their homes.  The town is surrounded by the Sabine Lake, Neches River and Cow Bayou - there is no levee system for this city.
