    Mudslinging

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     ChrisMorrow was cheering on her husband (in photo #7) at the Mud Run in Del Mar, California, when she noticed the 'mudslinging' couple dressed as Mitt Romney and Barack Obama. 'It makes me wonder if Halloween will be all about dressing up like the candidates,' she said.

    Mudslinging has become as much a part of the American political landscape as shaking hands and kissing babies. This couple is taking it to a whole new level.

     

    Photos and a quick 'Mudslinging' video from the Del Mar Mud Run. A 16 obstacle 5k run in the mud located in Southern California. And with 9,000 runners, most in costume.
