    Is the US Ready...Are You Ready?

     
    Israel is attacked by Hezbollah. Hezbollah is deeply rooted, given sanctuary by and backs Lebanon. Iran supports, funds and equips Hezbollah and attacks on Israel 'appear' to not involve Iran and cause a concern closer to and inside Israel. Israel shoots down a foreign UAV over Israeli airspace and activates a PATRIOT Battery. Israel has said they want to and will deal with the threat soon (by November)...to include Iran. US is allies with Israel. This is all nothing new, but if this potential war with Iran isn't also a specific topic for the Presidential debate, then I don't know what else we would talk about! With all the hostilities across the Middle East and the perpetuating Arab Spring (going 1 year & 10 months now), the US needs to be ready...not only the US Military but the US citizens along with the political and economic machines. I believe the military is ready but that the US citizens are too concerned with convincing themselves that their only concerns are domestic concerns. I agree that domestic concerns are important, but without proper (swift, certain and severe) attention to foreign concerns, it won't matter what we thought our domestic concerns were...
