This iReport is part of an assignment:
Final presidential debate: Unanswered questions |
Hypocrisy, Federal Stimulus Bill: Question for Paul Ryan
As a state representative you referred to President Obama’s federal stimulus bill as “a monstrosity” and a “wasteful spending spree” yet on four separate occasions you submitted written requests for access to that same stimulus funding for your state- Which when called into question you strongly denied, then later after evidence surfaced proving the contrary you confirmed that the claims were in-fact valid.
As a political figure representing our great country and its citizens, is it a reasonable expectation that when you make emphatic claims against the current President’s policies in the public forum, that your words match your actions? How important is keeping your word to the American people, and do you believe that the level of accuracy of the information provided is important or is that simply just small details in the realm of things? Like the difference in a sub 3hr marathon time versus a plus 4.
