There's No Disputin' Putin
To international affairs:
Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, is consolidating power and knows that to do so absolutely, requires both control of the masses and control of the money.
At Putin’s urging, the definition of treason is being vastly and hazily expanded beyond the bounds of state security to include any person or agency who undermines “constitutional order, sovereignty, and territorial and state integrity.”
Meaning: any person or agency can be harrassed, arrested, incarcerated- or worse- on trumped up charges.
For citizens, it’s the erasure of any new-found and hard-fought advances to their liberty, for NGOs (non-governmental organizations) it’s time to start practicing payoffs.
Cold winds are blowing over Russia once more.
