Gov Romney,
You have repeatedly said you will encourage and increase military spending. According to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute this is approximately 41% of the global amount, almost 5% of GDP and almost 5 times more than the second highest spender (China). We're obviously spending much more than enough to ensure our protection.
So, why do you favor further increased military spending versus using that money to aide the middle class, poor or lowering the deficit as per Pres Obama's plan?
