    Should affirmative action still exist?

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     adriana71 says the best way to ensure students to get a fair shot at going to the college they want to attend starts at the home and that it's up to the schools to make sure that students have the necessary tools to make it happen. "You will always have people that are well off and who can afford to help their children succeed. But the United States will also always have children that are educationally disadvantaged," she says. "Even if affirmative action was no longer the law of the land. Universities, colleges and work places would still try to maintain a certain amount of diversity. It just wouldn’t be quantifiable."
    - Anika3, CNN iReport producer

Education is a marathon. In order to have a level playing field it all starts in Pre-K.
