PVT Zachary Jordan is my fiance. He asked me to marry him back in February before he knew what he was going to be doing in the army and when he would be leaving for basic. The army wasn't his first choice of occupations, but he has made the best of it. He didn't know what he wanted to do in the military at first, but he decided that Airborne is what he wanted to do. He has always wanted to fly planes and went to school for a couple of semesters for Aviation Flight where he earned his private pilots certificate. He hopes to fly again and wants to learn how to fly the black hawks while in the military. He had some trouble during basic and had talked about dropping out, but he stuck with it and made all of us proud.  He is a strong and courageous soldier and person. He has bettered himself in ways that I never thought possible. He's kinder, more understanding, stands straighter, and is more proud of himself than I ever thought possible. I can't wait to marry him and call myself his wife. He has made me and his entire family extremely proud.
