Verizon Wireless Proves sales more important than customer service

Small town USA takes another blow from corporate greed. Verizon wireless closes a small town agent store due to lack of phone sales. Now nearest verizon dealer is over 50 miles away. Northern Lights Video started cellular service with Centurytel, who was bought out by Alltel , who was bought out by Verizon wireless. NLV's store is locate in a low income small town with less than 1000 residents where everyone knows everybody on a first name basis. Verizon set there standard at 15 new activations per month. Never mind about the customer service....when was the last time your verizon agent drove 40 miles to set up your verizon hotspot? at no charge...or came to your house to help you with service issues? at no charge. This is a small town...that's what they do. How many times has your cellular agent told you .."you don't need that on your bill" "this will save you XXX amount of dollars.' Verizon wireless expects agents to meet there monthly goal or get terminated, yet they undercut there online website to take customers away from the agents. Agents have to by the phone they give to the customer, yet the low commissions they give their agents make it nearly impossible to compete with verizons website. Next time you have a problem with your cell service where is your call going to...definitely not to Northern Lights Video...they had to close due to Verizon' s lack of personal one on one, face to face customer service.
