    Should affirmative action still exist?

    Stop Affirmative Action

Affirmative action laws need to be abolished based on race! Those with physical or mental disabilities are the only ones who should be protected. Minorities, no matter what income level they come from, have the same mental capacity as Caucasians. If a child works hard and their grades are up to par, they should be accepted in whatever college they desire. This view includes employment as well. Just this year, after applying for a position and being told I had the promotion, it was taken from me and instead, was given to three others who were minorities. When I brought up this issue, I was retaliated against to the point that my work hours were cut drastically. Not only did I qualify for the position, I am currently still doing this job but not getting the premium pay for it, while they are! This needs to stop now!

This is not the fault of minorities. The blame is on our government officials who allow this to occur. Put those who are deserving and/or capable of doing the job. As I stated before, the only difference between myself and those of other races is the color of skin. Our intellectual capacity is equal. Stop it now!
