    Proud Navy Wife and Army Mom

    Hi. My name is Colleen Fisher and I want to salute my husband Submarine Independent Duty Corpsman Shawn Fisher. He has been in the United States Navy for 20 years and is currently deployed somewhere in the big blue ocean. I want to thank him for being a dedicated husband and father through the many deployments and many miles that have kept us apart. I also want to salute my son Private Second Class Steven Black Jr. who is in the United States Army. I know that your career is just starting, but I know that you are going to make us proud over the years to come. I am so proud of both of you and your dedication to our country. I miss you both but understand what you do, what you stand and why you make all the sacrifices you do. I pray for both of you safety and can’t wait till you are both home again. I am so proud to call myself a Navy Wife and an Army Mom.
