ISAF Aircrafts destroy an Insurgents' communication facility in Western Afghanistan
Herat 10 October 2012 – A radio-antenna with its solar-energy power supply, in use to insurgent groups operating in the district of Bakwa (Farah province) were destroyed two days ago by Coalition aircrafts. The antenna was located on a hill and was hit by a laser weapon after having positively assessed the absence of civilians within a security range. The operation has significantly affected the communication capability of the insurgency in the district. -
