    Should affirmative action still exist?

    More from Dklandez

It does not matter whether or not affirmative action exists

I think that affirmative action is an idea here to stay and it shouldn't matter if it exists or not. Being Hispanic, you could say I'm biased. But in order for me to get into a good institution, I still have to have the knowledge to get in. Just because I'm of a certain race does not mean I can do terrible on the SAT and get into a college like MIT still. Either way, the effect of affirmative action is so small that nobody should be worrying about it.
