In all the posturing for the seat, (Presidential) the most important thing has been lost. That is the truth. It is not the fault of one man that has put us where we are today economically. We all want to blame someone and not look at the truth. As I can see it, this mess we are in was started by greed, plain and simple. Now we have been consumed by fear and forced to do what Americans do best. Stand up, brush ourselves, off and get back to rebuilding. Looking back to the past we see our mistakes as a country not as individuals. We have found a way to do more with less. We have gathered our resources and are in the midst of building a stronger America. No one man can keep this country down or build it up. We as Americans do this because that is what being an American means to us. We have yet to see one person change Washington. There is a proverb" Doing the same over and over again and expecting a different result is the definition of insanity". We will keep doing this until, we as a country change our motives and expectations of the people who represent us. Until we change our value system as a whole we will keep down this path. We are corrupt and dishonest from the top down to the bottom. Not all, but enough to keep us on this path. When we as a whole stop playing the victim and start demanding more from our leaders, we will start to change.
Unless you have sat in the chair you have no idea how it rocks. That person knows things we don't and makes decisions that affect millions. Take one minute and try to imagine, I can't. May god bless us all, no matter who "wins" this election, remmber it's us not him who is going to rebuild this great nation. WE THE PEOPLE...
