Child Death : US Domestic Terrorism

Every 5 hours a child dies from abuse or neglect in OUR OWN country, and we are one of the RICHEST countries in the world. We continue to breed abusers and yet I have heard from neither President Obama nor Romney their plan, much less acknowledgment that this is a serious act of domestic terrorism in our country. What will the future look like if half of our countrymen are victims who are unable to cope from these atrocities, or yet to become future abusers? What FUNDS are we going to invest to reduce this widespread epidemic? All we do is 'report',  gasp in shock, and self medicate and hope it will just go away. It is so easy to watch the horror of what the Syrian military is doing to its people, their innocent children, but we IGNORE what is happening on our OWN soil. Is all that we get is Nancy Grace? Stemming from addiction, stress, generations of abused abusers continue to propagate. It’s as simple as education, tougher laws, AND a complete REFORM of our Child Protective Services. Both candidates focus on healthcare, and or how they are going to 'fix' our economy, which they are important indeed, but what happens when half of our countryman are so emotionally and physically damaged due to this growing epidemic of abuse thus incapable of developing into contributing members of society to continue to build this great nation? Abuse breeds abuse. We have to end it now. What will America look like in 100 years if we do not STOP CHILD ABUSE / MURDER now?
