    VP debate meets Party needs; Biden a smug jerk

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     dcgopgirl a conservative voter from Alexandria, Virginia, says there were many moments that resonated with her during last nights debates but the one thing that stood out to her the most was Biden's horrible attitude throughout the debate. She says 'It was smug, and so confusing.'

    While I personally believe Paul Ryan was head and shoulders better than Joe Biden in tonight's vice-presidential debate, I'm fairly certain that both candidates accomplished the jobs the respective parties required -- Ryan, doing well and continuing Romney's momentum, Biden, playing it strong and feisty in order to energize Democrats.

     

    That said, as I stated in my mid-debate iReport What in the world Joe Biden!?, Joe Biden's mannerisms were awful! He came off smug and rude throughout Rep. Ryan's speaking time. In fact, he's sat there and laughed, and had a grin on his face throughout almost all of the serious discussions tonight. It was so unappealing!
