    The Republicans are very specific on the fact that they will eliminate the deficit. This indicates that they have given specific thought to the steps they will take to accomplish this. What specific steps will they take - which deductions will they eliminate, what caps will they put on deductions for what adjusted gross income, which taxes would they reduce and by how much and for which income groups - i.e. specifics?
