Democrats Don't Favor Abortion, We Favor Choice Until Education and Technology Can Eliminate the Need for Abortion
"Millions of unborn babies are killed every year.
Democrats must like abortions."
No. Democrats are for choice until science and education catches up with a way to solve this challenge.
No women is left unaffected emotionally about making the choice to have an abortion.
Ask any woman what she feels about having make that decision.
The hypocrisy I see is when Conservatives and religious views and solutions are forced on those not so inclined to agree.
If you don't like abortion, don't have one.
Until we have a failsafe way of preventing unwanted
pregnancies, Roe vs Wade should remain.
Teen age pregnancy is way down. It's down further where teens are better educated. Money should be invested in programs that inform women about the need to take more precautions- not just because of the chance of unwanted pregnancy but also because of disease.
There are many reasons for better education and better technology.
But conservatives are also against the morning after pill.
Many believe that life starts at conception. I don't and neither do many.
Three months seems to be an adequate amount of time to decide this difficult choice for most women or sooner.
At conception? This seems extreme to me.
Religious beliefs on abortion can be argued as to whether they have a place in our laws.
I believe the laws we have a t the Federal level should be applied to all states.
Rights should not be left up to a majority vote. The majority wouldn't have voted for civil rights either or gay rights.
You can't legislate your morality on others. You can advocate through your church for change and work to increase spending on education and technology that will make abortion unnecessary.
